You misunderstood what I was trying to say.  Binary compatibility will
not happens since it requires compromises in the implementation and
also commitments about future development.  Neither can or will I make.

Glibc's thread requirements are targeted toward multiple thread
packages on source level.  If there are problem with this (in the
limits of not punishing existing implementations) I have no problem of
adding changes.
