Several bugs were reported (not really against 2.2.4pre2 but against
all previous versions) and fixed.  Although I assume all the changes
are save I want to make one last (hopefully!) test release.

Most changes were for internationalization features but there are some
also for fundamental parts like the dynamic loader, strtod, and
thread-safety of some functions (mostly stream related).

Please give it a try and report success and failure to

  libc-alpha@sources.redhat.com

Fortunately I got for pre2 around 10 reports, much better but not
really sufficient.


[No gcc3 support included.]
