succesful compilation...

I've compiled current CVS under sparc-linux (gcc-2.95.3+patches and
gcc-3.0 from 4-18), aswell as for powerpc-linux (gcc-2.95.2+patches and
gcc-3.0 from 4-03) with no failures in the test suite....FYI
