I ran a build on my old ELC, with kernel 2.2.17, gcc 2.95.2 and binutils 2.9.5.  
The following tests failed:

math/test-fpucw
math/test-float
math/test-double
math/test-ifloat
math/test-idouble

linuxthreads/ex14
elf/vismain

The latter two tests produced "Timed out: killed the child process".

Other than that all seemed OK.
