still need Gloger's Sept 5 patch to pass make check

Hi,

ppc still needs Wolfram Gloger's Sept 5th patch to malloc/thread-m.h in
order to pass the tst-loading check (see "make extended allocation work
without threads").

Is there some reason that his patch was not committed to the cvs tree?  Is
it incorrect or just forgotten?
