__gmon_start problem fixed!!!

    Ok, I have rebuilt glibc 2.1.95 on my linuxppc using

HJ's second proposed patch and the resulting glibc fixes

the __gmon_start problems. You do have to rebuild any libs

you previously built under glibc 2.1.9x to fix the broken

binaries. Also, the test program HJ posted only demonstrates

that __gmon_start can't be removed so ignore that one.

Perhaps we should come up with a testcase that does the opposite

...proves that __gmon_start is being included so we can be

sure this doesn't happen again. Thanks to HJ for all his

efforts.
