I've applied for patch now.  I've made only cosmetic changes and one
optimization.  This is the patch without Linux 2.2 support.  We'll now
have time until the 2.2.1 release to verify it works.  If you could
provide some test programs this would be great.  For the program you
sent I'd need some instructions and descriptions of the expected
result.
