Please note that the CVS version of glibc 2.2 is not meant for public
usage. 

Ulrich mentioned on libc-hacker (read it via
http://sourceware.cygnus.com/glibc ) that he broke *all* targets.  So
far only ix86, MIPS and m68k has been fixed.  For all other platforms
patches are needed to fix the problems you encountered - and so far
nobody did this.  Feel free to contribute patches.
