glibc 2.1.2pre2 compile failure on Alpha with gcc 2.95

Hehehe...that's what I figured :-)  I had followed the numerous
conversations about the various math problems on the egcs lists.

No problem.  It's not a big deal for now.  I still have 1.1.2 installed,
so it should be very easily accomplished.
