Inquiry About libaio's Development Status and Future Plans

    I hope this email finds you well. I've been using libaio in work and truly appreciate the work the community has put into this project.

    I noticed that there have been no code submissions to the libaio repository for nearly three years. As an active user, I wanted to kindly inquire:

        1) Is this lack of recent activity due to the project having reached a stable and mature state?

        2) Are there any plans to deprecate or archive libaio in favor of alternative solutions (e.g., io_uring)?

    Understanding the project's direction would help us plan for future maintenance and potential transitions.
