Actually, Sam James caught an issue with the patch I applied.  That did spark
another patch applied to the mainline at
https://sourceware.org/cgit/libabigail/commit/?id=35a8167089d67e5aee107e9966f59947e6ffafb5.

This should hopefully fix the issue and be available in libabigail 2.7.
