I've been an utter idiot. I've got two Kawa source trees and initially 
made the typo [W]rite-ss in Scheme.java (I've since changed my font, in 
the old one w and W looked almost *exactly* the same...), thought I'd 
changed it in my experimental tree but for some reason I only changed it 
my stable tree. Really sorry about wasting time there!

Thanks again, it's working :-). Now just to try and fix all the other 
bugs I've introduced. >.>
