Sorr yI overlooked that - it might be nice to set up a bugzilla
database for Kawa - but I don't have time ...

I don't believe your patch is quite correct, since it appears
to do the wrong thing for the case TRUE_IF_GRT|TRUE_IF_LSS.
I checked in a revised patch.
