question about install insight

Dear sir/madam

I met a problem when tried to install insight-5.0 on my PC.
I had passed the step 1--./configure and step 2-- make.
when I tried "make install", there was an error appeared
that said "../config/mkinstalldirs command not found".
I used "find command"and find there really was not a file named
"mkinstalldirs" in my PC, what should I do next?
