I debug my board ( custom860 board using modified mbx860 eCos) with Insight. But console window seems not to work properly when lots of print-out message sent from my board. print-out message is printed on console window well in a while after eCos running. But as the time goes, no more print-out message is printed on console window abruptly. But then, eCos is running well . I know that by led display. just no more message on console window. So I tried it in command line mode. It works always. problem happens only when using insight gdb console. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: From ralphbel@us.ibm.com Mon Jul 16 12:03:00 2001 From: ralphbel@us.ibm.com (ralphbel@us.ibm.com) Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 12:03:00 -0000 Subject: insight/95: itcl/iwidets3.3.0/unix/Makefile does not install on clean install of RedHat 7.1 Message-ID: <20010716190144.6799.qmail@sourceware.cygnus.com> >Number: 95 >Category: insight >Synopsis: itcl/iwidets3.3.0/unix/Makefile does not install on clean install of RedHat 7.1 >Confidential: no >Severity: serious >Priority: medium >Responsible: unassigned >State: open >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: net >Arrival-Date: Mon Jul 16 12:03:00 PDT 2001 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: ralphBellofatto >Release: Insight-5.0 >Organization: >Environment: Redhat LInux 7.1 >Description: The Makefile in the itcl/iwidets3.3.0/unix/ directory produces an error 2 when attempting to run /usr/src/bs/BUILD/tcltk-8.3.1/itcl3.1.0/itk/../configure/mkinstalldirs. I issued the ./configure and the make and the make install command. After repairing a problem with the make file where the function to create the target direrectories was broken (reported previously today) I attempted to run it. running gdb reported and error that it could not find the iwidgets library. I checked in /usr/local/lib and could not find any libraries relating to widgets, so I think there is something broken with the install. I suspect that the install did not completly install all there was to install for the special version of TCL required by gdb. I am rather anxious to get this working on Redhat 7.1 as insight is one of the better GUI's for GDB. Please advise.
