gsl and Splus

Good afternoon,
To speed up computational efficiency I have written some code in Splus and am
attempting to link it with C.  When I try and include calls to gsl I run into
problems.  I am wondering if there is anyone who has already done this
successfully who may be able to provide some guidance?
