Solving Non-Linear Sparse Systems

Hi,
i am a researcher at the computer graphics field.
i am working with the GSL and *unfortunately* there is not even a little
support for sparse matrices ,which are extremely demanded when solving
non-linear system of 100000 variable ...
most of the sparse matrix packages are only for Linear algebra , with
no root finding algorithms,,
are you aware of an extension for GSL , or another library
for supporting huge sparse non-linear system solving?
