powell minimization?

Thx for the offer, but I simply don't have any time to devote to that
development. It's a pitty, but I guess we're all busy.  I mostly
wanted to follow-up and see if the subject had been dropped.  I guess
until it becomes available, I'll do with the NRC code and will only
send binaries of my soft.
