It is unclear why you would expect name resolution for "fmco764" to succeed. 
What is your search path ("search" entry in /etc/resolv.conf)?  Is the domain
name resolvable on the public Internet?

(You should open a support case if you are unsure about sharing internal data
with the Internet at large in this bug tracker.)
