tst-cancel21-static fails with SIGBUS on pre-ARMv7 when using GCC 8. The kernel
traps in the kernel assisted atomics code:

I have tracked done the issue to a miscompilation of the kernel assisted atomic
code with GCC 8. A patch is available here:
