I'm wondering if I should submit a new bug. It looks like you did some great
debugging and it's too bad that nobody gave you a response yet. Maybe I ought
to try your patch... However I think that I was using glibc 2.27 before and the
problem must have appeared in 2.28, while your bug appeared in 2.22...
