I don't know where the generally useful bar is set for libc; and I'm not
unhappy with our current mktemp+openat implementation.

Indeed, I probably wouldn't have submitted this feature request had that
link_warning message not popped up every time I compile the library suggesting
I replace mktemp with functions which I can't actually use.
