It was established a while back that it *is* after all OK to change the
rounding mode (and change it back) in libm functions and C11 makes it
explicitly indeterminate in signal handlers.  Several libm functions now make
such temporary changes.

Thus, Steven, could you update / retest your patch to fix this issue and post
it to libc-alpha?
