So why are you trying to build that old snapshot?
We build CVS glibc on s390 every few days, last known to work glibc on s390
is CVS snapshot from this morning.
Bugs in old snapshots certainly can't be retroactively fixed, it would be fixed
in current CVS.  But current CVS is known to work.
