Hello
I know this gdb release is pretty archaic now, although its current Ubuntu LTS gdb 15.0.
In a more recent gdb, does the "Download failed" provide some more info about the invalid argument in a more recent version? interesting to know more about what causes it.
I see in a little test C file like this:
$ gdb ./crash2
(gdb) set verbose on
(gdb) run
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
Download failed: Invalid argument. Continuing without source file ./string/../sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strcpy-sse2-unaligned.S.
Please include my email address in any replies.
Thanks
Jonathan
