Invoking "gmake check" with the Solaris 11.3 linker causes the following
error.

ctesta-btest.o ctesta-testlib.o ./.libs/libbacktrace.a
ld: fatal: unrecognized '--compress-debug-sections' cmp-type: zlib-gabi
Basically, libtool invokes ld with a gld option. This does not happen
with the basic build/install. I built gdb with the Solaris ld.
