breakpoint with arm gdb (android 4.4)

Hi,
I'm trying to debug a 3rd part JNI library with arm edition of gdb.

Now I need to break on __android_log_print, but:
> break __android_log_print
Is never triggered .. and

> break __android_log_print@got.plt
result in an inaccessible memory error

Non of them works, any ideas? I do see a log in adb logcat
