For those you you who use FreeBSD, I see that FreeBSD got funds from
the GSOC to work on the following project:
BSD-licensed libiconv in base system
Student: Gabor Kovesdan
Mentor: Xin LI
I thought this was worth mentioning, since we recently added
a dependency on libiconv with a fallback on a dummy libiconv
if none was found...
