Unifining all targets on a given architecture for runtime multiarch

Hey..

     I would like to know if gdb can be configured for more than one
target at a time. So in a sense it will be like multiarch gdb, where
you can switch targets at runtime.

I want to configure gdb for atleast 2 architectures. for eg: arm and i686.
