gdb crashes with Solaris 10 x86

Sorry, but if that's all you have to go on, you will need to debug GDB
to see where it is crashing.

Your first step should be to try a snapshot of GDB:
  ftp://sourceware.org/pub/gdb/snapshots/branch/gdb.tar.bz2
