GDB -ggdb crashes program in windows gdb debugger.

hi guyz..
when i compile a program using -ggdb for generating
extra 
debugging information it compiles normally..
but after invoking gdb with that compiled file it
says.
"fatal internal error occured"
and it terminates making a core dump file.
i am using windows version of gcc suite from devX
software..
plz help me..
