stack from core if signal catched

I tried to find point of code
caused sig 11.

Sig 11 catched, inside signal
handler I do: fork, exec gcore.

Than tried to analise core file.

gdb 5.3 and pstack correct
show me content of stack
before fork call.

gdb 6.0 shows only sighandler and fork.

Why?
