Altivec support in PSIM

I did not get any answer to my question on Altivec support in psim, so I try
again:

I am interested in Altivec instruction support in gdb and psim. I have searched
a little on the web and seen that a guy called Matthew Green has contributed
something in this area. I don't find it in the newest gdb releases, however.
When do you expect to include Matthews contribution?
