Problem in gdb, requesting clarification

Hi,

While debugging one of the applet, it gives following errors due to
which i am not able to proceed in
debugging, can any one of you help me in solving this problem, is there
any patch  which fixes this problem.

Since the applet can't be started from command line, i am attaching the
process to gdb after starting the
applet like this.

gdb /opt/gnome-2.0/bin/panel-menu-applet 31973

Any help in this regard is appreciated
