GDB CVS won't build on alphaev6-unknown-osf4.0f

Linking of gdb fails with:

/usr/bin/ld:
Unresolved:
elfcore_write_prstatus
elfcore_write_prfpreg
elfcore_write_prpsinfo

Is this a known problem?
