Is the _initialize* (void) decl needed?

Just FYI,

I've noticed people zapping the apparently redundant declaration
of _initialize* (void) for various files.

The declaration was there to avoid a `gcc -Wmissing-declarations` warning
for that function and hence pave the way for eventually being able to compile
GDB with `-Werror -Wmissing-declarations`.
