Insight crashing

This is obviously a compiler problem.  You'd be better off posting this to
the gcc list.

Hints: 
1) check their list archives first
2) cut-and-past what is printed by "gcc -v" to your message
3) get the latest (or close to it) version of the compiler to 
   see if this has been fixed
