A recent cleanup (
https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/2026-June/228110.html ) fixed the
last whitespace issues.

The pre-commit hook now only ignores all files that are not 'text' files.

The check-whitespace-pre-commit.py script now only ignores ChangeLogs.

I think this is done.
