I also did a run on openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 with gcc 16 (though it's not the
system compiler yet at version 20260527).

I ran into two failures.

One of them in test-case gdb.python/py-finish-breakpoint-tailcall.exp, this is
PR33989.

The other one in test-case gdb.cp/step-and-next-inline.exp.  I've filed PR34189
for that.

I'm declaring this exercise done.
