It's been a year now... 
While this is not a blocker, it still adds delays of around 15 seconds to some
everyday debugging actions. Is there any chance for a fix?

I think I once confirmed my theory from my post on 2025-04-17, but I cannot
remember the details. As far as I remember, I was able to remove the
duplilcation. But probably at the cost of breaking other scenarios. If this is
valuable information, I could go back and check what I did.

It is probably not realistic for me to provide a complete patch of sufficient
quality, given that the codebase is new to me. So is there any other way I can
support?

If there is a strong opinion that the DWARF data is the root cause of the
problem, I could approach IAR. But for this, I would need to know what is wrong
with that debug information. To me it looks like the debug data itself is ok.

In case you need more information from IAR to investigate the issue, I can also
open a ticket with them.
