Marking this as a good-first-bug because I am pretty sure this is a quick fix
of a single function call at the end of switch_to_thread or similar functions.

If a new contributor would like to try and tackle this bug, feel free to email
me (email available when hovering my name) if you'd like some mentoring on how
to compile and/or send patches to GDB.
