 Well, I don't see it when I build with GCC 3.4.5 or GCC 4.1.1.  The user
 was using GCC 3.3.3 which I no longer have.  I don't see any indication
 that the gdb code has been changed, my guess is that it is a problem with
 HP-UX GCC 3.3.3.
