Hello,
Please provide more information about the compiler and assembler
that you are using to build gdb. If the compiler is gcc,
then the complete output of "gcc -v" is useful.
Also it would be helpful to see the exact command line that compiled
infrun.c.
If your compiler is gcc, and the compiler version is older
than gcc 3.3, then it might be this bug:

Which was fixed by:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-04/msg01894.html
The first release of gcc with this fix was gcc 3.3.
Or it might not be this bug. But that's a good candidate.
