Red Hat Linux v7.1, Kernel 2.4.2-2smp, GCC is Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81
>Description:
When singlestepping with "next" in this version on

Red Hat v7.1, it sometimes acts as if continue was used

(i.e. it does not stop on the next statement).

The program being debugged is multithreaded (using the ACE

library, which uses pthreads).
