GDB 10.1 release -- 2020-10-18 Update (nearly there!)

Hello everyone,

We're almost there, with one identified blocking issue left, where
a patch was sent for review a few days ago. Once this patch is in,
I'll try to get the release done the weekend that follows its inclusion.
