FYI/GDB 7.8 BRANCH: Patches applied to branch gdb-7.8-branch

Hello,

A couple of patches I am about to push, as part of creating
the gdb-7.8.2 release.
     [release/branch 1/2] Document the GDB 7.8.2 release in gdb/ChangeLog
     [release/branch 2/2] Bump GDB version number to 7.8.2.DATE-cvs.
