[Commit/unwanted] gdb/ari directory creation

It happened to me a few times too (maybe not in the GDB CVS).

Personally, I think it's fine. I am not even sure there is anything
you can do. CVS users have to use the "prune empty directories" option,
and git users are not affected, as git deals with files, and will not
create empty directories.
