This is a refresh of the 'set print symbol' series. Unless there are comments I plan to check this in later this week. I did not think of a new name for the option. FWIW I think a completion conflict is nicer than a negatively-named option. Details in the subsequent messages. See patch #5 in particular for one final oddity. Tom
