[patch/rfc] REGISTER_BYTE -> DEPRECATED_REGISTER_BYTE

Hello,

This renames the REGISTER_BYTE macro, the corresponding architecture 
method was renamed some time ago.  Now that there are only 270 
occurances left (down from 440) doing this is much easier.

I'll commit this in a few days,
