[patch/rfc] Remove ``override_*'' variables from gcore.c

Hello,

To follow up:

This patch removes the override_* variables from gcore.c.  If it turns 
out that something needs to override the current mechanism then 
something involving gdbarch or the target will be needed.

I'll look to check it in in a few days.
